The role
Design boards that go straight from your desk to our in-house SMT line — high-density digital, mixed-signal and RF layouts across medical, industrial and consumer programs.
What you'll do
- Schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout (Altium) for client programs.
- Component engineering: selection, alternates and lifecycle risk with our NPI team.
- Prototype bring-up and debug with firmware engineers, on boards built downstairs.
- Design for manufacture, test and compliance (EMC pre-scans, DFM/DFT reviews).
- Support production ramps: test jigs, yield analysis, ECO management.
What we look for
- 4+ years of shipped PCB designs, ideally through volume manufacture.
- Strong mixed-signal layout; high-speed digital (DDR, USB, MIPI) or RF a plus.
- Working knowledge of EMC/EMI standards and pre-compliance practice.
- Comfortable at a bench: rework, probing, root-cause on first articles.
- Altium Designer proficiency; scripting or version-controlled ECAD valued.
