The role
Run and improve our SMT line: pick-and-place programming, reflow, inspection and rework across low-to-mid volume runs where every lot is traceable and every product is different.
What you'll do
- Set up and operate pick-and-place, reflow and AOI equipment across product changeovers.
- Program placement machines from ECAD outputs with the NPI team.
- Perform fine-pitch rework and hand assembly to IPC-A-610.
- Maintain lot traceability, first-article and quality records in our MES.
- Contribute to continuous-improvement of line yield and changeover time.
What we look for
- 3+ years hands-on SMT experience (pick-and-place programming and reflow profiling).
- IPC-A-610 familiarity; certification valued.
- Fine-pitch rework skills (0201, BGA, QFN).
- Comfortable with ESD discipline, MSD handling and traceability systems.
- A improvement mindset — you notice what slows the line and fix it.
